What Is The "Minutes Of Child Education Donated Since 06/10/08" Counter? Those who were regulars at the old blog will know that for a while I dabbled in charity programmes, playing a word game to get x grains of rice donated to the third world.  It's a cause I feel strongly about.  I have always, since I was a kid, been interested in charity and now I am an internet connected adult, I am in a position to help. Despite personally having detested school, and having bunked off of a few days a year because I was being bullied, I think education is a fantastic thing.  I am still considering becoming a teacher at some point.  But that is somewhat off topic.  So, my plan is this.  I am going to attempt to donate in the region of 4 to 8 hours of education per day via Charitii.com.  It works a lot like FreeRice.com, except I get to decide where my game playing efforts go.  Which seems pretty fair to me.  And my brain gets a daily workout.  Oh, and for the sceptics amongst you, no, I do not use any aids or plugins to assist me with this.  These efforts are all mine.
